WHAT IS ASELF-CLEANING FILTER?

A Self-Cleaning Filter is an automatic filtrationsystem that removes solid contaminants from liquid or slurry withoutrequiring manual intervention to clean the filter element. It uses mechanical,hydraulic, or pneumatic systems to clean the screen/filter without stoppingthe process.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Unfiltered liquid enters the filter housing and passes through the screen/filter element.
Particles are trapped on the inner/outer surface of the filter element.
Once the differential pressure limit is reached, a cleaning cycle is triggered:

Rotating brush/scraper or suction nozzle removes contaminants.
Collected debris is discharged via automatic drain valve.

Filtration continues without process interruption.
